Building Data Repository (requires NetBadge Web Login – contact Jennifer Heckman for access)
The Building Documentation Repository (BDR) is a database centralizing historic and essential information about the University of Virginia's buildings. The intent of the BDR is to preserve this information for future decision makers as they determine the best use for an existing building. Please note that the BDR may not include all the essential documentation for a building that exits. Identifying essential information is an on-going effort. A wide range of departments continues to research, identify, upload, and maintain the information that should reside in the BDR. If you are aware of a document that should be housed in the BDR, please contact Jennifer Heckman in Facilities Management.
This database only includes owned buildings. It does not include buildings leased by the University of Virginia or the University of Virginia Foundation buildings.
Real Property Desk Guide – This desk guide contains information that will help you coordinate certain real estate matters that may impact your project. Since real estate matters require extensive review by a number of departments at the University, it is important to identify these issues early and get the process started.
Office Space Guidelines Allocation Standards – Office guidelines address methods to improve space efficiency, while office allocation standards provide a recommended amount of square feet and office type (private, vs. shared, vs. workstation) for a positioncategory.
